If you like details, you’re going to love Leviticus. If you don’t, don’t let yourself get bogged down in them. The book is about worship, and if you study carefully you’ll see how much it is about the Savior who, although He had not yet been born on this earth, was already the One deserving of our worship and praise. It gives us great insight into holy living, which is impossible apart from the work of Christ.

I was so surprised to see the comments on Leviticus today when I opened my e-mail. I just introduced a study on the book of Leviticus to a group of ladies today. They all (well, maybe not quite all) are very excited to find out what God will be teaching them and helping them to apply to their lives today. The ones that are not quite as detail oriented are willing to give it a go, and I know they will be blessed!!
I loved Leviticus! It fascinated me that the tiniest detail was care of, how God must have the details of my life planned! The funny part is my 30year old son had just asked me why I thought Leviticus was in the Bible and I had told pretty much the same thing.
