More than 450 aspiring authors submitted book manuscripts to the Third Annual Women of Faith Writing Contest. We’re excited to announce the top 30 finalists and their book titles. See the complete list here: http://www.westbowpress.com/WoFcontest.aspx The Grand Prize winner will receive a self-publishing package from WestBow Press and special consideration from Thomas Nelson. “The list of finalists for this year’s Women of Faith writing contest is strong,” said Pete Nikolai, director of publishing services at Thomas Nelson. “The choice won’t be easy. Given the success of our previous winners, we’re excited for the finalists and eager to see what transpires for this year’s top choice.” Excitement about the contest grows every year, given the success of previous winners. Last year’s Grand Prize went to Amy Sorrells; her manuscript, Comfort and Salvation, was acquired by publisher David C. Cook. 2011’s Grand Prize winner, Marcia Moston, was picked up for a major publishing and distribution deal through Thomas Nelson for her book Call of a Coward. (See more about Call of a Coward here.) The Women of Faith writing contest was open to writers of unpublished Christian-themed manuscripts.
