Website Privacy Policy Update

January 17, 2014 | by

It’s that time of year, isn’t it? Taxes, new budgets, updated policies . . . . Recently we made a few changes to the privacy policy at You can read the whole thing here but the gist of the changes is below. According to the updated Privacy Policy, we reserve the right to:

  • Send third party-sponsored emails based on personal information you provide to us, as long as we send the email on behalf of the third party and do not share personal info with third parties. (They send it to us; we send it to you.)
  • Allow user (that’s you) to opt in to submitting personal info to a third party (such as a sponsor or a business partner). In these cases, the third party must be clearly identified.
  • We can share personal user information with subsidiaries and affiliates so they can notify users of promotions, products, services, content and events directly. We must allow the option for users to globally opt out of these communications (and we will always give you that option).
Our goal is always to send you the information you want and need without bombarding you with emails and offers you don’t want. Remember, you may change your preferences at any time.
