HEBREWS: Two Important Things

HebrewsHebrews gives us two very important things. First, the emphasis of the book is the absolute superiority of Jesus Christ as our High Priest.  We need no one else or nothing else to give us complete assurance before the Father.  He delivers us to the throne of grace perfect and completely forgiven of all sin.  There is no one else like Him, and He is all we need.  He is our Advocate, our Redeemer, and our life.  Because of Him God says, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more” (Heb. 10:17).  Imagine!

Hebrews also gives us the Hall of Fame in chapter eleven, reminding us of all those faithful men and women who preceded us and lived lives of heroic faith.  There is no other book in all of Scripture that has more richness for the believer than this one.  Hebrews is full of mystery, metaphors, and an unbelievable message.

I am so grateful for the message above. God raised me up over difficult times – discrimination,
intimidation, abuse and made me stronger. There is not anything I can do with His grace and mercy.
He is truly all I need as I move along on my journey to help others see God’s good works and to help
them in their times of need. God brings me peace and joy, and I love Him dearly.

Thank you so very much, there are so many powerful messages in what you have written. Our God is a forgiving, unfailing and unconditional loving God, he is guiding us through the waves of time and He will not leave us during these turbulent times and through these turbulent waters that crash around us. If we give it all to Him, and truly open up our heart to Him, he is always there guiding, loving and nurturing us and sometimes to show us that we are so much stronger than we think we are, our God is amazing and He will never forsake us or leave us. I am so very grateful for our God. Thank you again for your messages.

    Dear Mrs. Shirer,

Thanks so much for your encouraging message. I will tuck those words away, for easy access in future days when Satan is barreling down hard on me. I concur that our Savior, JESUS CHRIST, has taken care of our sins, and is at the right hand of God, interceding for us. HIS story is our story.
