I know a place where there will be no more wars. I know a place where there will never be another broken heart. . . . I know a place where all our longings, all our desires, our all will be fulfilled and found in The One. . . . If you asked me why I believe in God, in Jesus, and in the hope of a place called Heaven, it would be for this reason alone: God always wraps up what He started. From Adam and Eve to that final tear wiped from its beloved owner’s face, God wraps up what He started. . . . Can you imagine what it will be like to see the face of The One who has lavished us with His grace, rescued us with His Cross, and purposed us to live forever and forever with Him? “Rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:20 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you. 1 Peter 1:3–4 “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:2–3 From Joy for the Journey: Morning and Evening © 2014 by Thomas Nelson (Thomas Nelson, Inc.)
