God can make a way for you where nothing has seemed possible. . . . I wish I could take you by the hand and walk you to the nearest field to point you toward the horizon. To whisper, “Can you see that? Your whole life is still in front of you. Can you see God there, calling you toward the plans He has for you . . . ? Can you hear Him saying your name and directing your steps?” . . .
I don’t know everything about this journey, but I am positive that every time God is involved, we are supposed to live with passion and purpose. I just see too many of us waiting to live. . . .
Don’t let your circumstances mislead you. . . . Live like everything God has promised is true. God is here. He is ready to heal and restore and make your life new. Turn and see.
Eyes raised, squinting toward the horizon.
One step. Then another . . .
Until you run.
“I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
—Jeremiah 29:11 niv
A man’s heart plans his way,
But the LORD directs his steps.
Direct my steps by Your word,
And let no iniquity have dominion over me.
The LORD is gracious and full of compassion,
Slow to anger and great in mercy.
The LORD is good to all,
And His tender mercies are over all His works.
