At the age of 18, Beth Moore made it her goal to say yes to whatever God asked. Several years and numerous best-selling Bible studies and books later, she’s still saying ‘yes’ to God. Known for her energy, passion, humor, warmth and grace, Beth is the best-selling author of Get Out of That Pit, The Patriarchs; Breaking Free; and Jesus, the One and Only (just to name a few). She encourages women to not only stand on the Word of God, but to know what it says. A popular speaker, Beth has taught the Bible to groups around the world both in person and by video. In 1994 Beth founded Living Proof Ministries with the purpose of teaching women how to love and live on God’s Word. Because of her burden for unity in the body of Christ, Beth counts serving women of all denominations as one of her greatest privileges in life. She hosts an interdenominational Tuesday-night Bible study for women at Houston’s First Baptist Church. Beth and her husband Keith live in Houston, Texas.
