The God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.
— 1 Peter 5:10 KJV

Have you ever thought life might be easier if you could be someone else altogether? Here's one woman's fantasy for her own identity change: she'd like to be a bear. Her reasons. . . ?

Sheila Walsh's new book, Beautiful Things Happen When a Woman Trusts God, is about trust—how hard it is to trust, how we learn to trust, how we live with trust, how our lives are transformed by trust—and about how trust is the greatest gift that we can give our Father . . .

She's an outlaw; he's a preacher. Both are in need of a miracle. Sarah Prescott has never known a respectable life. Just a hardscrabble childhood and brothers who taught her to shoot first and ask questions later.

Justin Wells left Boston in disgrace, heading out alone on the dusty trail to Texas. But when the once-respected clergyman encounters a feisty redhead in handcuffs with a badly wounded U.S. Marshal at her side, their journey takes a dramatic turn.

His high society expectations and Sarah’s outlaw habits clash from the start. With a price on her head and towing an orphaned baby rescued from the brink of starvation, Justin and Sarah make the difficult journey toward Rocky Creek. There, justice will be meted out. Perhaps—they hope—with a healthy portion of grace.

Filled with mishaps, laughs, and adventure, Margaret Brownley's inspiring romance will keep readers cheering for Sarah as she struggles to become a true lady.

In 2010, Women of Faith is going to Milwaukee, WI for the first time ever! Over the Top will be at the Bradley Center on October 1-2. We're really looking forward to our inaugural event in the Badger State.

Imagine is headed to Tulsa, OK on August 27-28, the first time Women of Faith has been in there since 1997. For those of you who have been with us in Oklahoma City for years, it will be worth the short drive up the turnpike to Tulsa. If you're near either of these places (or any of the other 27 cities we'll visit in 2010), we hope to see you there!

Natalie Grant is back with Women of Faith! She'll be joining us at most 2010 Imagine events. To celebrate, we're giving away a signed copy of Natalie's CD, Relentless. To enter, click below and leave a comment with the title of your favorite Natalie Grant song. Winner will be chosen randomly from among all the entries. But hurry! We're cutting off entries at 5pm CST on February 20, 2010. Winner will be contacted via email the week of February 22nd.

Nothing Is Impossible

Depending on your mood and personality you might look at that title and think, "Huh. I know a lot of things that are impossible, thank you very much." Or you might think, "Wow! That is so true!" You might even fall somewhere in between.

The truth is, by ourselves we're pretty limited. But with God? Our awesome, all-powerful God? He swoops into our lives and opens the doors of possibility. As Romans 11:33 says, "Have you ever come on anything quite like this extravagant generosity of God . . . ?"

This new devotional from the Women of Faith speakers and friends offers page after page of encouragement, humor, insight, and teaching to rediscover the God who will not let you go. Order one today and find out for yourself that Nothing is Impossible.
