 The Bible talks a lot about "remembering". In fact, a quick search turned up more than 300 occurrences of the word "remember." God tells his people to remember what he's done for them. The Psalmist asks God to remember him. Jesus instructs us, "do this in remembrance of me."
In the U.S., the last Monday in May is set aside as a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service. So we remember—and we're grateful.
