What People are Saying about The Bible Series
“The Bible is visually stunning and spiritually evocative — I couldn’t stop crying the first time I watched it! This incredibly realistic depiction of the divine love story between our Creator-Redeemer, Jesus Christ, and humanity is a huge gift for both the church and culture at large.”
—Lisa Harper, Ministry Director of Women of Faith
“Because I grew up knowing about the Bible but not understanding it, I’m overwhelmed with excitement about The Bible Series. It’s impossible to put into words the awe-inspiring emotions I felt watching the Bible stories come to life on the screen. The attention to detail is impeccable. The acting is deeply moving. The music is breathtaking. I’m waiting with anticipation to see all the lives The Bible Series will impact. Mark Burnett and Roma Downey have given the world a gift.”
—Craig Groeschel, pastor, Lifechurch.tv
“When I viewed The Bible, I soon forgot I was watching a film—I felt I was on the scene, a bystander as the incredible and eternally important events took place. There is no glamorization, no “Hollywood” production; there is instead a gritty, unpretentious realism, an observed humanness and naturalness that brings the Bible to life before your eyes. I felt I was living and breathing it myself, and I now know every person..and Jesus Himself…as if I’d been there when each thing happened. What other film has ever done that?”
—Pat Boone, CEO, Pat Boone Enterprises
“I’ve probably seen most, if not all, of the films about the Bible produced in the past 50 years. This one stands alone, in a class by itself, as the best I’ve ever seen. Brilliantly produced with stunning cinematography, a Hans Zimmer score and academy-worthy acting, it stands head-and-shoulder above the rest. Too many ‘Bible’ films end up feeling like documentaries, with stilted dialog, second-class sets, and narration that feels like a lecture. In contrast, this series draws you into the story from the start. The key to its effectiveness is that it lets the Bible speak for itself, without commentary, excuse or qualification, which makes it unique. This is living history at its best!”
—Dr. Rick Warren, Author, What On Earth Am I Here For?, The Purpose Driven Life
“I love the passion and enthusiasm that my friends Mark Burnett and Roma Downey have invested in their new History Channel series, The Bible. Rather than a word-for-word documentary, this project combines drama and history in a way that captures the essence and heart of the Gospel and the broader biblical story. I’m convinced that The Bible represents a unique opportunity to convey God’s redemptive message to a broad audience—many of whom may be unfamiliar with the narrative of Scripture. My prayer is that many lives will be impacted not only by the beauty and quality of the production, but by the Truth that lies at the center of the story.”
—Jim Daly, President, Focus on the Family

I very much want to see this series, but neither our household nor any nearby relatives have the necessary cable service. Is there any other way to see the miniseries, such as online streaming?
It doesn’t look like online streaming is available, but the entire series will be available on DVD (it’s a 4-DVD set). You’ll find information on pre-ordering the series on DVD here: http://www.bibleseries.tv/
What we have here is a testimony of what happen and who did it. God in his infinite power has given the talent to two individuals whom say it like it was, not how it is. The drama of this epic movie and the Bible are personified in the truth. May our Lord Jesus Christ bless you both and anyone involved with this project. God is happy when he sees his people use their talent. Paul
Have been watching the series and while am glad the Bible is being featured, there are many important verses that were dramatized which left out key points and sequences. Some depicted passages were altogether wrong and left me disappointed to say the least.
I am really enjoying this series and I can’t wait to own a copy of it. I think it will be out by apr 2

I just about ‘stumbled’ on this (biblegateway site) and I’m really excited about it! It’s close to the vision gave me except yours is a ‘film’! Would really like a copy of the whole series. Do you send to Nigeria so I can make my bookings? Secondly, I really don’t understand the Bible Viewing Party Host Kit. Is it the complete film for me to use host my invitees or a trailer of some sorts?
Unfortunately we do not ship to Nigeria through our webstore. Hopefully later this year our site will be ready to ship to you!! We aren’t part of the Bible Viewing Party Host Kit. Our assumption is that shows clips of the series but is not the full film. The full film is now on sale in a 4-DVD set. We don’t ship to Nigeria through our webstore but you could probably try purchasing through Amazon and perhaps they ship to your area. http://www.amazon.com/The-Bible-Epic-Miniseries/dp/B00AMR5LZA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1365610089&sr=8-1&keywords=the+bible+miniseries
