Events Coordinator Intern

Women of Faith is seeking an Events Coordinator Intern to join our team.  If you’re the type of person who has a passion for people, serving others and events planning, then this is the internship opportunity for you. This position will work directly and support leadership on event development and execution

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Assist Retreat and Local Church Tour Directors
  • Manage registration lists, emails, and provide up to date lists to leadership team
  • Assist in handling merchandise
  • Contacting and following up with churches
  • Conduct venue and service provider research as needed
  • Provide onsite event support to leadership team when needed
  • Assist in scheduling team meetings, compile agendas and provide follow-up
  • Provide support to leadership team on special projects


  • A Bachelor’s Degree (or Junior/Senior/Graduate status)
  • 1-3 years of experience event planning within a corporate environment or agency (internship experience accepted; can be entry level)
  • Moderate skill-level with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
  • The ability to work independently & flexibly (travel and extended hours) under tight deadlines
  • A track record of success in working in and influencing a fast-paced, fast-growing global organization
  • Ability to be a high energy, problem solving, self-starter, results oriented, proactive individual with a high sense of urgency
  • Ability to effectively lead and influence internal/external partners towards intended and successful results
  • A demonstrated ability to make sound decisions consistent with business needs


In addition, all candidates should be familiar with the Statement of Faith, and will be required to agree with the declarations of the Statement of Faith in order to be considered for this position.
