Grant Writer

Women of Faith is seeking a Grant Writer Intern. Individuals will work in a fun, flexible environment. Responsibilities will vary, therefore adaptability, problem-solving skills and “outside the box” thinking are key.

The internship will entail researching grant opportunities, collecting and organizing grant application materials, managing a grants calendar and applying for grants for the Worldview Project and for one or more of our organization’s projects.


Under direct supervision intern will research grant opportunities, background information on foundations. Will create and organize grant submission materials, some writing might be involved. Intern will obtain significant knowledge related to grant seeking.


  • Either coursework or experience with grant writing and grant seeking preferred
  • Completion of at least two (2) years of undergraduate study in a related field.
  • Previous experience in research and/or grant writing preferred. Understanding of, or prior work/volunteer experience in, a non-profit organization preferred.
  • Excellent research, writing, verbal, proofreading, editing, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Flexible team player, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer service orientation, and ability to prioritize and work well within deadlines.
  • Computer aptitude and Microsoft Office skills required.
  • Familiarity with the Google Suite of products (e.g. Google Docs/Sheets/Drive).
