GETTING THE RIGHT JOB AND KEEPING IT!

“First seek the counsel of the Lord.”

1 Kings 22:5

These Keys for Living will help you recognize the qualities of a great worker and how to navigate work difficulties . . . from job dissatisfaction and job loss to searching for the right position and handling interviews. Discover—or perhaps rediscover—the value and dignity of work and how to fulfill the work the Lord has for you.

QUICK STUDY GUIDE

Quick study guide to definitions, characteristics, causes, and quick steps to solutions, for real life topics, problems and challenges.

Being made in His image, we too have been designed to work … to do meaningful work … to find employment that utilizes our natural talents and spiritual gifts … work that glorifies God, blesses others, and brings personal satisfaction and fulfillment.

Everyone loves a good transformation story and we all love the idea of transformation.   We believe the reason we all love these types of stories is that, deep down, there are things about us that we dream about being different some day.  We want our own transformation story.  God desires to give you hope as you face life challenges, problems, difficult trials and to transform you.

The good news for us is that God specializes in redemption and transformation He takes that which was lost and restores it. He takes that which was dead and gives it life . He takes that which had no hope and rewrites its story.  This is our God!

Grace Filled Words:

“Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?”

Galatians 3:2-3

The unequivocal answer is found in Genesis 2:2 … “By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.” When God created the trees, the waters, the animals, and ultimately people, He called it work, and He also called it “good.”
