A New Christmas Musical for Your Whole Family

A young woman carrying an unimaginable responsibility. A young man torn between love and honor. A jealous king who will stop at nothing to keep his crown.

Sound familiar? Of course it does; it’s the nativity story! This Christmas, the story of Mary, Joseph, and King Herod comes to life in a whole new way: in a musical called JOURNEY TO BETHLEHEM.

The film stars Fiona Palomo as Mary, Milo Manheim as Joseph, Lecrae as Gabriel, Joel Smallbone as Antipater, and Antonio Banderas as King Herod!

Alita Reynolds, the President of Women of Faith, saw an early screening of the movie, which opens in theaters everywhere on November 10. She’s a big fan!

“JOURNEY TO BETHLEHEM is the perfect film for the whole family—for mothers, daughters, children—to really enjoy. I thought it was very entertaining and yet we hear the truth of the birth of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.”

This live-action Christmas musical adventure was created for the entire family to be able to watch and enjoy together. It weaves classic Christmas melodies with humor, faith, and new pop songs in a retelling of the greatest story ever told—the story of Mary and Joseph and the birth of Jesus.

So the story of Baby Jesus as a musical? You better believe it!

“JOURNEY TO BETHLEHEM is a wonderful portrayal of a musical that is very entertaining and uplifting with phenomenal music all in one,” Alita said.  “I love musicals, even though I’m not that much of a musician myself, and so I’m so inspired by the music.”
