The Promised Life Blueprint: Reflection, Prayer, and Relationships

This week in our Women of Faith Group Coaching session, we embarked on a transformative exploration of the Promised Life Blueprint under the guidance of our President and Coach Alita Reynolds. As we delve into the scriptures and the principles of living a promised life, we discover the profound impact of reflection, prayer lists, and relationships on our spiritual journey.

Reflection: Learning from the Past

In the quiet moments of reflection, we are reminded of the wisdom found in Proverbs 9:9 (NIV), "Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning." Coach Alita urges us to be not just smart, but wise in our journey. By looking back on the past year, we gain insights into our growth, acknowledge our achievements, and identify areas for improvement. In Psalm 119:105 (NIV), we are assured that God's word is a lamp for our feet, guiding us in our reflections and illuminating the transformative work He has done in our lives.

Prayer Lists: Intentional Communication with God

The Promised Life Blueprint encourages us to embrace the power of prayer, aligning with the biblical directive to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Alita emphasizes the significance of prayer lists as a tool to stay focused and organized in our communication with God. Drawing inspiration from scriptures such as James 5:14-16, Philippians 4:6-7, John 14:13-14, and Matthew 21:22, we are reminded of the promises God has given us when we approach Him with faith and surrender to His will.

Our prayer lists become a sacred space where we pour out our hearts to God, including petitions for ourselves, loved ones, and various aspects of our lives. By documenting our prayers, we create a tangible record of our spiritual journey, witnessing God's faithfulness over time.

Relationships: Choosing Godly Companions

In the tapestry of our lives, relationships play a vital role in our spiritual growth and well-being. Alita directs our attention to the biblical command to love one another and emphasizes the impact of our relationships on our character and faith. As we evaluate the fruit and character of our close friends, we are prompted to consider whether they align with our values and beliefs.

In 1 Corinthians 15:33 (NIV), we are reminded, "Do not be misled: 'Bad company corrupts good character.'" Choosing godly, supportive, and uplifting companions becomes pivotal in our spiritual journey. Are our relationships marked by generosity, alignment with our values, and mutual encouragement? By surrounding ourselves with such individuals, we create an environment that fosters spiritual growth and reflects God's love.

Let’s Pray:

Heavenly Father,

We come before you with hearts full of gratitude for the wisdom and guidance imparted through this Women of Faith Group Coaching session. As we reflect on our lives, we seek your guidance and wisdom. May our prayers be intentional, and may we trust in your faithfulness. Guide us in choosing relationships that reflect your love and grace. Transform us into the companions and friends you have called us to be. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

As we meditate on the Promised Life Blueprint, may it inspire you to deepen your connection with God, embrace intentional prayer, and foster relationships that reflect the love of Christ. Remember, you are fearfully and wonderfully made, fully accepted, incredibly loved, and fully forgiven by God. Embrace your identity in Christ and let His love overflow into the lives of others.
