I recently watched “A Night of Amazing Women”. It was the first time that I heard Brenda Warner speak. Is there any chance that she will be speaking at the Women of Faith conference in Denver 9/28 – 9/29 or in Des Moines on August 24? I would really like my family to hear her testimony. Thank you.

  2. She was at the Women of Faith conference at Columbus Ohio this weekend (Aug 3-4). Oh my goodness, what an amazing woman she is!! And we also had the privilege of meeting her son, Zack. Her courage and strength, and most of all, her faith in God, was very inspiring to me, as we all sat there anad listened to her heartbreaking story. If anyone does not get the privilege to hear her speak, I would encourage you to get her book “One Call Away”. Thank God for women like that!!!

  3. I’m so greatful that I got to hear your story at Women of Faith in Pittsburgh! Meeting your son and watching him sing along side with Amy Grant was also awesome:) I’m so blessed to have the Lord in my life and thankful he has guided me in my life and carried me a few times also! I was talking to a friend after you told your story and saying how it touched my heart. She said to me that I also have been on that path many times in my life. I also have a special needs child or adult daughter. My daughter was born at 28 weeks and only weighed 3lbs 15oz, then lost a pound. She spent 5 months in NICU and after many doctors saying they have done all they can, she came home on April Fool’s Day!!! She spent the first 3 years of her precious life in and out of hospitals. After having many surgeries (11 brain surgeries, part of a lung removed, many leg surgeries and eye surgeries) she was doing good! She had honors in high school and deans list in college. She always had trouble excepting her disability(CP) and very negative. We weren’t ready for the next diagnosis, Borderline Personality Disorder…WOW! With Faith on my side we will get through this also! She now lives in a group home and is doing pretty good, learning to be independent. I’m so thankful that God has always been there to see us through. She gets so mad at me because I can always find something positive all the time! I bought your book and can’t wait to start reading! Thank you again, I had an awesome weekend:)
