Still Hope - It is a God story! | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Friend, this interview is one I have been waiting to share with you.

In this conversation, I sit down with Kathrine Lee to talk about the upcoming film Still Hope, releasing in theaters February 5th. This is not just a movie. It is a God story. Kathrine shares how the film came to life through an incredible chain of faith filled moments, connections that only the Lord could orchestrate, and a deep desire to bring both truth and healing to the screen.

Here is a quick overview of the film. Still Hope follows a teenage girl named Hope who feels relatable to so many families. She is living a normal life, navigating the everyday world of being a teen, and like many young people, she assumes she is safe. Through deception and grooming, her life is turned upside down in a matter of moments. The film does not shy away from the reality of trafficking, but it is not designed to leave you in darkness. The second half of the movie is where something truly powerful happens: you begin to see the journey of restoration, redemption, healing, and the transformational power of forgiveness in its proper time. It is honest, it is trauma informed, and it is filled with hope.

Kathrine also invites us into the heart behind Pure Hope Foundation and Pure Hope Ranch, a place that reflects so much of the healing model shown in the film. One of the most beautiful themes we talk about is this: we are hurt in community, but we also heal in community. There is something holy about safe people walking alongside someone as they reclaim their life. And you will see that woven throughout the story.

My prayer is that when you walk out of the theater, you feel both awakened and strengthened. Awareness matters, but action is what creates change. This film can open meaningful conversations with your family, remind you that healing is possible, and invite you to be part of the solution in your own community.

Still Hope is in theaters February 5th. You can watch the official trailer, find tickets, and access resources at stillhopemovie.com. And friend, if you believe stories like this need to be told, go see it and bring someone with you.

I’m wildly cheering you!
