Aligning Your Physical Health with Your Faith - Part 3

Hey there!

I want to speak to your heart today, not as someone who has it all figured out, but as someone walking this journey alongside you. Maybe you’ve felt discouraged, stuck, or even hopeless when it comes to your physical health. Maybe you’ve said, “I have bad genetics,” or “I’ve tried and failed too many times.” I understand. But here’s the truth: Today is a new day.

In Part 3 of “Aligning Your Physical Health with Your Faith” on The Alita Reynolds Show, we talk about what it really looks like to lay down those excuses and move forward in truth and freedom. John 8:32 says, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” Let that soak in.

The Lord has given you one body, and it’s not about perfection or comparison. It’s about stewardship and honor. We don’t worship our bodies, but we revere what God has entrusted to us. So ask yourself: What’s been holding me back from prioritizing my health? Write it down. Pray over it. And then, let it go.

I also share practical steps that have helped me, starting with Morning Mindset Statements rooted in Scripture. These daily declarations of truth replace the lies of the enemy.

These statements can be things like:

“I eat to fuel my body.”

“I don’t do that anymore.” (“That” is anything that does not support taking care of your body.)

"I’m not led by cravings.  I’m led by Christ.”

“My body is a tool for the Kingdom.”

And remember what 1 Corinthians 10:31 says: “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” Make that personal, “Whether I eat or drink or whatever I do, I do it all for the glory of God.”

You are not alone in this. You are capable. You are called. And you can start today.

I invite you to watch the full episode and let God meet you in a powerful way. Let’s align our physical health with our faith, together.

I’m wildly cheering you,

Alita
