Five Ways to Live in the Fullness of Joy.

Friend, I need to share something with you. For years, I thought joy was something I had to chase, something I’d feel only when life was going my way, when prayers were answered, or when I was accomplishing something meaningful. But then there were those seasons—months, even years—when joy seemed impossible. Maybe you’ve been there too.

Here’s the beautiful truth I’ve learned: the great “secret” of joy isn’t about what we do for God. It’s about what God has already done in us. That changes everything. Joy isn’t tied to my circumstances, my performance, or even my ministry.

Joy flows out of knowing my name is written in heaven. That’s eternal. That’s unshakable.

In Luke 10:17–20, Jesus tells His disciples not to rejoice because of their victories over the enemy, but because their names are recorded in heaven. What a perspective shift! That’s where true, lasting joy is found.

In the episode “The Great ‘Secret’ of Joy,” I share five ways to live in that fullness of joy. I talk about celebrating redemption, living as disciples, letting go of barriers like bitterness or disappointment, and learning to truly overflow with joy in everyday life. And as always, I’ll be real with you; it’s changing me as I share it with you.

I know life doesn’t always turn out the way we hoped. You may be carrying heartbreak, discouragement, or stress right now. But even in those moments, God invites us to trust Him, to surrender what we can’t control, and to expect His goodness. His ways are higher, His plans are better, and His presence brings the fullness of joy we long for.

I want to encourage you, don’t just stop here. Watch the full episode, “The Great ‘Secret’ of Joy.” Let’s move forward together, choosing to live joy-filled lives that overflow into the world around us.

I’m wildly cheering you!

Alita Reynolds
