Getting Dirty featuring Paula Faris

 

Friends, Paula Faris and I had so much fun on the show together that I just had to share… Enjoy!!! - Alita 

 Paula Farris: "I used to love just like making mud soup and like, like going runny and just and just getting dirty. Yeah. And so I know that sounds really crazy, but my boys and I just love to run around barefoot. Something as simple as running around barefoot. I won't show you the bottoms of my feet, because you can tell that I have been doing that."

Alita Reynolds:  "So I have my boys are 23 and 22 and my daughter's 16. And my parents are farmers and so they have four wheelers and pioneers like a four person ATV. Yes. So we will just drive around and it's so funny. Like, if I don't want to get dirty that day. I'm not doing it. Yeah, but if I want to get dirty, like there's gravel, roads and running, going through fields and all of that, and you come back and you're just kicked." 

Paula Farris: "It's so fun, though."

Alita Reynolds: Why is that so fun? It's not funny.

Paula Farris: "I mean, I think part of it is the process of cleaning up afterwards. It's like I like painting too."

Alita Reynolds: "Oh, totally."

Paula Farris: "Because it's the before and the after. And there's there's a lot of symbolism there. And I like to see the transformation."


Alita Reynolds:  "Hey, okay, so that's how I feel when I actually get ready because this is not what I look like most days. I sometimes have to remind myself what I look like when I get ready. Like I'll tell my friends. This is what I look like when I get ready."
