Let’s hold on to God’s promise of joy!

Looking back on life, sometimes I wonder how I have made it this far. Through the trials of life, sometimes it felt as though there was no way to move forward. And then I am reminded who guides me each and every day. I have only made it this far in life because of The Way Maker. Thank you, God!

Remind yourself today of this promise: God is always with you and will never leave you. No matter what you are facing. NEVER is a very powerful word. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about the word NEVER. God will NEVER abandon you. This doesn't mean you won't endure trials. However, it is His promise to ALWAYS be with you. We can't run, we can't hide, He is ALWAYS with us.

May everyone who knows Your mercy keep putting their trust in you, for they can count on You for help no matter what. O LORD, you will never, no never, neglect those who come to you. Psalm 9:10 TPT

So, let’s hold on to God's promise of joy! At times, we struggle to believe this or wrap our minds around it. It's hard to see past our suffering when we're in the midst of it; even when we do, it's impossible to fully grasp how much joy, peace, and fulfillment we will have one day in heaven. When we look toward better days here on earth, our expectations are low because we know that we can't have perfect joy or complete contentment on this side of heaven. We can take heart and hold on to the promise God has for us as His people, that we will one day soon have perfect joy that infinitely overcomes any suffering we once endured.
