Have Fun and Enjoy the Journey

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Imagination is a faculty of the mind that can be cultivated, developed, extended, and broadened by use. The world has become accustomed to new discoveries.  Go create your discoveries.

As stated in the Declaration of Independence, is the pursuit of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Fun, playfulness, and humor is the fabric of happy memories.

You are responsible for choosing to have fun. Your words mixed with any of your feelings of emotions constitute a “magnetic force” that attracts other similar or related thoughts. How about choosing it to be fun, playful, and enjoyable?

Have fun and be playful. Use your humor to place a smile on someone else’s face as well as your own. Fun, playfulness, and humor are all key to having and maintaining good health for yourself. Being fun, playful, and humorous is also a key to your longevity. It adds years to your life and life to your years. Choose to love life, laugh a lot, and live longer.

3For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
5If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. 6But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. 7Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.  James 1:3-8

God and you are the architects. Be the architect of a joyous, fun, playful, and humorous one. Joy, fun, playfulness, and humor also creates a lighter and more enjoyable experience, especially when it comes to deadlines, chaos, stress, and all of the activities you may live with. Create fun and happiness when you enter a room. The shortest distance between two people is a warm smile and a good laugh. Laughter is an umbilical cord that connects people. It is a lubricant that goes a long way toward building long and fruitful relationships.

The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.

Psalms 32:8

The key to creating and maintaining fun, playfulness, and humor is being conscious of choosing to have them as priorities in your life—to embrace and use your fun, playfulness, and humor wherever you go.

Appreciate and celebrate yourself. Choose time to appreciate how far you have come on your journey no matter where you are right now. You have come to this very point. Choose to celebrate doing so. Everything you have experienced in your life’s journey has had to happen for you to get to the very place you are right now. So celebrate it.

Start celebrating every step of your journey. Celebration is about honoring yourself. It refuels your fire. It soothes your soul, and it feels great. With it, your efforts will keep the wind in your sails. Life is full of big and little opportunities to celebrate. Some would say celebrating and experiencing joy is what life is all about. Just start celebrating. Celebrate everything you are able to—birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and even “ordinary” days.

Give to yourself. Accept that you are able to give to others to the extent you are giving to yourself. When resistance is simply removed from your life, happiness naturally emerges for you. Putting yourself first, having fun, and being playful is being self-full.” Keep your energy vibration high. One of the most effective ways is through daily fun, playfulness, and gratitude.

Now is the time for you to enjoy your journey. A journey where all roads lead to the life you choose. Your life is worth celebrating. Go celebrate it. Have fun, be playful, and smile.
