Shame Spirals Featuring Dallas Jenkins

Dallas Jenkins shared, "I think there's so many people who've struggled. And I think this is important to talk about even you know, because again, I'm on a show called Women of Faith. I think especially women who've experienced trauma, yeah, who've experienced assault, and have gone into shame spirals. The assault wasn't their fault. The victimization wasn't their fault, the trauma wasn't their fault. But oftentimes that results in sin results in addiction rights and vices. And I think women end up feeling shame about that. And I was hearing from so many women who were saying, Thank you. Yeah, because I experienced the kind of trauma Mary did. And when I went back to my old ways at times, like when I struggled with, whether it was addiction or any kind of vise, I felt so much shame and I thought, well, I guess I blew it. I guess God can't love me because of this. Thank you for showing that even the heroes of our faith struggle."
