MICAH: Simple Instructions

The prophets declared doom unendingly.  We don’t know if anyone ever asked, “What exactly does God want from us?”  Had that question been posed then or if it is today, Micah is a great place to go for the answer.  He gives it to us in Micah 6:8“.  He has shown you…what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”

Those are fairly simple instructions, but absolutely impossible to do unless God Himself empowers us, which is what He does through the ministry of His Holy Spirit.  What a great God we serve!  He tells us what to do then enables us to do it.
