When God Gives You a Word for The Year

Have you ever felt yourself getting a little too used to what God is doing, like it is no longer surprising you?

One thing I never want is to grow nonchalant about the Lord’s work in my life. When God gives you a word for the year, it is not a cute idea or a personality trait, it is an invitation to watch Him move with intention. And when you start noticing how He is shaping you through that word, you cannot help but say, all glory to Him, because this is not about our strength, it is about His faithfulness.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5 to 6 NLT
